It was another 6hours of high heart rate fun down at the Forrest 6 hour. The weather gods turned on the goods giving us a beautiful blue day, at one stage lots of riders noting that it was a bit too hot, for the last 3 editions of this race we have done we have found ourselves either in the fog or the mud! We again lined up for the elite pairs, this year Ren lost the who’s going to start argument and lined up for the Le Mans start ( A running start, for the first min or so up the hill then you jump on your bike )  Lets just say the running needs some work!

The day went like it has in other years for us, each going out smashing ones self and then tagging the other in, if you weren’t ready to go as soon as the other got back …….. bi geee big trouble!

We love this event it is such a great way to get a really hard race in but at the same time the trails are simply super fun. Along with this it is always really cool to see the big mix of people out giving it a go, the race always attracts a lot of new riders for their first race or first Enduro which is really cool. This year a record number of women from Warrnambool headed down for the race, have a look a their cool story here –

All in all awesome day out we were happy to take the win and hit some high heart rates.

Thanks to all the crew from Forrest MTB for another great event check them out on their Facebook page –
