Cyclists, Mountain Bikers, and Cyclocross racers, riders, Adventure seekers, Based out of Melbourne Australia, we are Naomi Williams and Rebecca Locke – AKA Team Willy Locke – We Love the bike, the places it takes us, the people we meet along the way, and all the fun and adventures that come with it.
Australian 2016 Cyclocross National Champion, Rebecca hails from the Central Coast of NSW, she grew up spending most of her days on the beach and endless hours in the surf. She first started racing bikes as a Triathlete and was a successful junior who transitioned to Pro level and represented Australia in both Triathlon and Duathlon on the world stage. After turning her focus to cycling she has been competing in both Road and Mountain Bike for several yearsand has had many successes including in the Australian National Road Series, National MTB Marathon and in various other events on both the Mountain bike and Road, now she adds Cyclocross to the mix, in 2016 she was crowned the Australian and Victorian Cyclocross champion, and proudly raced in the jersey at the highest level on the international stage in Europe, Japan, and China, and represented Australia at the UCI world Cyclocross championships.
Bec loves being on the bike and testing herself as well as the freedom it offers. Off the bike, she is a full-time Firefighter with the MFB in Melbourne.
NAOMI WILLIAMS, AKA – REN
Naomi hails from Launceston Tasmania and was racing bikes around from the time she could walk. She first started racing officially at the age of 9 in BMX, and then progressed to Road and Track, going on to be part of the Australian Institute of Sport and racing for Australia on the International Professional Road circuit for several years. She started racing Mountain bikes for fun in more relative years. Has raced World Cups on the Road, MTB and Cyclocross, Raced the women’s Giro, A 24hour solo MTB worlds, too many Crits to count. In 2016 she won the Australian Cyclocross National Series and the Victorian series in her first cyclocross season, and like Bec raced Cross on the international stage in Europe, Japan, and China, and represented Australia at the UCI world Cyclocross championships.
Off the bike, she is a Sports / Remedial Massage Therapist & Coach.
